The Hogle Zoo

We had such an amazing time at the zoo. The kids had been talking about it the whole week and just couldn't even wait to go. Harlie wanted to see the baby elephants and Keegan wanted to see the "Lion King" (the lions.) Although there were no Lions there, they did have the Zoorassic Park going on all through the park and so they got to see all sorts of dinosaurs. Keegan was so funny, he wanted to see them until we got there and when he saw them, he was terrified. It was cute/sad all at the same time. He kept telling the T-Rex to back up, he kept sayin g, "Your too close, back up dinosuar." It was very cute. The kids also wanted to see Tarzan's mom (the gorillas) They got to see Tarzan's daddy instead, Kurchek. They thought he was pretty cool. Harlie and Keegan had a blast. Nana and Gramps came on this trip and had an awesome time with their grandkids. Harlie stuck around and hung out with Nana pretty much the whole time. She LOVES her Nana very much. When she would get scared of an animal she would run to her Gramps. Keegan hung around his Gramps to keep him safe from all the dinosaurs. He was so funny. He did very good, up until the end and then he was done. He walked most the time cause he wanted to be a BIG BOY. Harlie did so amazing, she never complained one time or whinned at all. She was so BIG and she had tons of fun. I loved the dinosaurs of course, anyone who knows me, knows I LOVE them. I find them very fascinating. At the end we went and saw there wildlife show with all the birds, then went on there train ride. Just before we left we let the kids pick out there favorite animal, Harlie picked out a very cute purple leopard and Keegan after the whole time of being scared of the dinosaurs, decided that that's the animal he wanted. So he picked out a green T-Rex like off Toy Story and calls him Rex and Harlie calls her leopard Spot. Shawn got me a spotted leopard and we named him Brody. Anyways, after the zoo we went and ate at this very cool restaurant that had all these train tracks and all these trains that went by you while you were eating. It was very cool. Harlie got to ride home with her Nana and Gramps in there car and had so much fun. The kids and grandparents had such a fun time. Thanks for going with us Nana and Gramps, we love you very much and had so much fun.
